This Oakmont project in Santa Rosa was a rewarding second collaboration with longtime clients who recently relocated from Petaluma. Their new home offered a great canvas, and the design challenge was clear: transform both the front and back yards into modern, highly usable spaces while meeting Oakmont’s low‑maintenance and fire‑resistant requirements.

We re-imagined the property from the ground up. Both yards were rebuilt with new Stepstone wet‑cast concrete paving and stepping stones, creating clean, contemporary lines and durable outdoor living areas. At the front and rear entries, we introduced porcelain paver porches for a refined accent. New fencing and fire‑safe aluminum gates were installed to enhance privacy and meet local fire‑safety standards. Along the side yard, fresh concrete pathways and a sleek FX Luminaire low‑voltage lighting system completed the modern design.

The result is a striking, cohesive landscape that has already turned heads throughout the neighborhood
