So far year to date here are the precipitation numbers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weather.gov\/climate\/xmacis.php?wfo=mtr\">National Weather Service<\/a> (as reported from the Civic Center in San Rafael):<\/p>\n<p>Jan: 4.97<br \/>\nFeb: 2.74<br \/>\nMar 11.41<br \/>\nApr: 8.40<\/p>\n<p>This totals 27.5 inches of rain to date, last year we had half this amount (14 inches).<\/p>\n<p>Last year was also a wet year with rain into June:<br \/>\nJan: 0.00<br \/>\nFeb: 5.02<br \/>\nMar: 7.22<br \/>\nApr: 2.07<br \/>\nMay: 3.35<br \/>\nJun: 0.53<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully we do not have a repeat of last year&#8217;s May.
