It is renoun, for its collection of Spanish Masters <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Goya\"><font color=\"#6699cc\">Goya<\/font><\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_Greco\"><font color=\"#6699cc\">El<br \/>\nGreco<\/font><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Velazquez\"><font color=\"#6699cc\">Velasquez<\/font><\/a>. In addition to the museum there is also an<br \/>\ninteresting botanical garden on the grounds. The Prado was originally<br \/>\ncomissioned in the 18th century to be natural science museum, which accounts for<br \/>\nthe botanical gardens, but by the time of its opening, it was used as a showcase<br \/>\nof art from the Spanish empire.<\/p>\n<p>The garden itself has a characteristic Spanish quality of being relaxed and a<br \/>\nbit wild and overgrown. This is true of many of the other parks of Madrid that I<br \/>\nvisited.
